Job description
PURPOSE OF THE ROLE:

Approaching new and established clients to advise and to sell our products within the assigned sales markets. Creates, monitors and revises lead generation plans to ensure a substantive sales opportunity pipeline. Locates, evaluates and recruits potential partners including distributors and suppliers. Supports all partners throughout the sales process in all sales-oriented activities. Commercially responsible for realizing the budgeted turnover and margin.

Some of your daily tasks
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Maintain business scope on all of our products (pork, beef, poultry, fish, fruits and dairy);
• Achieve the agreed targets within the agreed time;
• Translate new developments on the market into trade business;
• Make new contacts and grow our network of potential clients;
• Create insight into different cultures in order to better understand your international clients;
• Analyze in depth the need of the clients and be proactive in your approach, keep track of their wishes and desires and offer them the right products at the right time;
• Be a reliable partner that the clients can always count on;
• Travel on a regular base to your (potential) clients/suppliers in order to establish a strong, reliable relationship;
• Be aware of (international) legal regulations and custom regulations (safeguard import duties, general protection measures, relevant regulations to the industry);
• Analyze/ search for relevant information about the financial stability of the clients/ supplier;
• Analyze/ search for possible risks, never give credits to your clients;
• Avoid claims, have in depth knowledge on the needs and specifications on the clients/ supplier;
• Ensure that all goods are supplied and delivered timely and at the right price;
• Set up certain appointed commercial projects;
• Keep yourself posted with necessary general information on economic/political situations within the countries you are doing business with;
• Have up-to-date knowledge of statistics of our industry and share this info (import- and export figures, local production data etc.);
• Be aware of the seasonal influences of products for sourcing and sales;
• Inform your fellow team members on regular base about all relevant information regarding the assigned markets and ask them also what the market needs.


Our requirements
JOB REQUIREMENTS:

• Affinity with relevant markets;
• MSC/ HBO level of working and thinking;
• Speaking or writing in Dutch is not necessary;
• Other kind of languages are very important (speaking and writing);
• Fluent in English is a must (our company language);
• Fluent in any other language is a great asset;
• Commercial attitude and an entrepreneurial mind-set;
• Analytical skills;
• Excellent interpersonal skills; confident, charismatic, positive and proactive;
• Willingness to travel up to 30% (or more) of your work time to different countries(inside/outside Europe;
• Willingness to work on non-standard working hours due to related time zone(s) of our clients.

NEEDED EXPERIENCE & KNOWLEDGE:
• Relevant working experience as a international trader, sales or purchaser;
• Experience with Microsoft Excel on a basic level is a must;
• At least 3 years of independent experience in export sales or international B2B sales in the agricultural sector, preferably in animal husbandry / cattle farming/ dairy.

Unburden the Team Members Commerce so that they can fully focus on the commercial activities. Job description
Als Medewerker Financiële Administratie ondersteun je de afdeling Finance met alle financiële werkzaamheden. Je bent het aanspreekpunt voor onze (internationale) teamleden voor financiële vragen en helpt hen daar waar nodig.



Who you are
WIE BEN JIJ:

Je hebt al enige jaren ervaring als Medewerker Financiële Administratie of aanverwante administratieve gebieden en hebt een afgeronde opleiding op MBO of HBO-niveau. Je hebt cijfermatig inzicht, oog voor detail en bent een teamplayer die ook goed zelfstandig kan werken. Ook onder tijdsdruk blijf je goed presteren en weet jij de juiste dagelijkse prioriteiten te stellen. Je hebt een proactieve houding en hebt het vermogen om effectief te communiceren met verschillende functies en niveaus binnen een organisatie, Engels spreken en schrijven is daarbij een pré.

BELANGRIJKSTE VERANTWOORDELIJKHEDEN:

• Debiteuren- en crediteurenadministratie;
• Boeken en verwerken van bankafschriften;
• Controleren en verwerken van betalingen;
• Het boeken en controleren van kostenfacturen;
• Verwerken van verkoopfacturen;
• Bijdragen aan de maandelijkse financiële afsluiting.


Our requirements
ONZE VEREISTEN:

• Je hebt een afgeronde MBO of HBO-opleiding in een financiële of aanverwante richting;
• Je hebt aantoonbare administratieve werkervaring;
• Je hebt goede kennis van Excel, kennis van Exact Globe is een pré;
• Je bent proactief, oplossingsgericht en makkelijk benaderbaar;
• Je hebt goede kennis van Nederlands en Engels.
