Job description
You will be responsible to approach new and established clients to advice and to sell our products within the assigned sales markets. You will create, monitor and revise sales leads to ensure a substantive sales opportunity pipeline. Supports all partners throughout the sales process in all sales-oriented activities and of course is commercially responsible for realizing the budgeted turnover and margin.

Who you are
You have a proactive attitude and have the ability to communicate effectively with various functions and levels within the organization. You build extensive and effective networks of contacts both internally and externally. You have a significant track record of success within de Dairy products industry and have a wide network of clients in South-America. You are a team player but also capable to work independently and have the ability to deal with a substantial workload under time pressure. You have a no nonsenses attitude and always use your common sense.

Some of your daily tasks
• Achieve the agreed targets within the agreed time;
• Translating new developments in the market into trade business;
• Making new contacts and grow our network of potential clients;
• Analyze in depth the need of the clients and be proactive in your approach, keep track of their wishes and desires and offer them the right products at the right time;
• Be a reliable partner that the clients can always count on;
• Travel on a regular base to your (potential) clients/suppliers in order to establish a strong, trustful relationship;
• Ensure that all goods are supplied and delivered timely and at the right price;
• Have actual knowledge of statistics of our industry and share this info (import- and export figures, local production data etc.)

Our requirements
• 1-3 years of experience as an international trader, sales or purchaser;
• MSc./ HBO level of working and thinking;
• Speaking and writing in Spanish is necessary;
• Other languages are very important (speaking and writing);
• Fluent in English is a must (our company language)
• A purchase network within Mexico/South-America is a big plus;
• A commercial attitude and an entrepreneurial mind-set;
• Analytical skills;
• Excellent interpersonal skills; confident, charismatic, positive and proactive;
• Willing to travel up to 10% (or more) of your work time to different countries (inside/outside Europe);
• Be able to set priorities and work on more than one task;
• Self-starter and always going for the extra mile;
• Willingness to work on non-standard working hours due to related time zone(s) of our clients.
